Yacht mooring on buoys in Zavala Bay

Zavala Bay (Zavala Luka) is located in the northern part of Stari Grad Gulf in the western part of the island of Hvar, 2.3 miles north-west of Stari Grad town.

There are about ten buoys for mooring yachts in Zavala Bay. The bay shelters yachts well from all winds and waves, except southerly and westerly. The price of mooring at the buoy is 200-400 kuna per day.

You can also stand on your anchor, but the bottom of the bay is rocky and you need to find a patch of sand for good holding.

There is a restaurant on the shore of the bay.
