Yacht mooring on buoys in Velo Borca Bay

Velo Borca Bay is located on the south-west coast of Hvar, 3.5 miles east-south-east of Hvar town.

In Velo Boche, yachts can pick up one of the mooring buoys belonging of the two restaurants. There is conflicting information about the ability to anchor, some say that anchored yachts are turned away, some say they are not. My opinion is that when all the buoys are busy, you won't be turned away in the hope that you'll visit a restaurant. The bay shelters the yachts well from all winds and waves except the southern ones. The seabed in the bay is sand, seaweed and rocks. Choose patches of sand for anchorage.

There is a beach and two restaurants on the shore of the bay. No houses.
