Yacht mooring on buoys in Velo Zarace Bay

Velo Zarace Bay is located on the south-west coast of Hvar Island, 3.5 miles east-south-east of Hvar Town.

In Velo Zaraca Bay, yachts can pick up one of the mooring buoys belonging to the restaurant. There are about 10 buoys. This is too many for such a small bay. Possible collisions of yachts mooring on buoys. The bay shelters yachts well from all winds and waves except southerly and easterly.

Yachts can also anchor outside the buoy field at depths of 8-15 meters. The seabed in the bay is sand and seaweed.
