Uvala Parja is located in the north-west of Hvar Island, 1.5 miles east of the western tip of the island.

In Paria Bay, yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-15 meters. Bottom is sand and seaweed, rocky outcrops. It is possible to take mooring lines to the shore. The bay shelters yachts well from all winds and waves, except northerly.

There is Floriana Park on the shore. This place is not a public park, i.e. it is recommended to be careful when visiting (there are signs everywhere). But the shoreline up to 6 m deep into the island according to Croatian law can not be private.
