Cape Ploce (Rt Ploce) is located in the north-west of the island of Hvar, 9.2 miles east-northeast of the western tip of the island.
The anchorage is located in a small cove just south of the cape. Depths are 3-15 meters. The seabed is sand, seaweed, rocks. It is desirable to take mooring lines on the shore. The anchorage is sheltered from only the west winds and waves, therefore it is better to stay here only in calm weather.
The shores of the bay are wild. In the northern part of the bay is a small pebble beach, which is approached by an unpaved road.
