Sipan, the largest of the Elafiti Islands, is located at 10 miles west-north-west of the ACI marina Dubrovnik. The island stretches from south-east to north-west for almost 5 miles. The maximum width of the island is 1.4 miles in the middle section. There are two villages on the island. The shoreline is fairly smooth. The shoreline is just over 18 miles long. There is a large bay in the north-west of the island and two smaller bays in the south-east, which are used by yachts for anchorage.
The island has interesting history and attractions.
