Vela Stiniva Bay (Uvala Vela Stiniva) is located on the northern coast of Hvar Island, 17 miles west of the eastern tip of the island.
Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 4-10 meters. The seabed is seaweed and sand. Holding is good on the sand. Possible take moorings lines ashore. Anchorage is well sheltered from winds and waves of south directions. In the north winds the bay is not suitable for yachts.
In the south-east corner of the bay there is a small concrete pier, to the end of which one boat can be moored.
There is a small resort village on the shore. It has a bar and a restaurant.
