Yacht anchorage in Medvidina Bay

Medvidina Bay (Uvala Medvidina) is located on the south-west coast of Hvar Island, 38 miles east-south-east of Hvar town.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 5-15 meters. The seabed is seaweed with patches of sand. The bay shelters yachts from winds and waves of northern directions. With other winds, there is no calm in the bay.

There are several houses on the shores of the bay. The northern shore of the bay is a pebble beach.
