Duga Bay (Uvala Duga) is located on the north-west of Hvar Island, 2 miles east of the western tip of the island. The bay is also known as Diana (named after the beach in it).
In the Duga Bay, yachts are usually anchored in its south-eastern part at depths of 3-15 meters. Bottom is sand and seaweed. It is possible to take mooring lines ashore. The bay shelters yachts well from all winds and waves, except northerly and westerly.
In the head of the bay is a pebble beach. There is a small wooden pier, which can be approached by dinghy. There is a dirt road approaching the bay. No permanent buildings on the shore. Not many people.
