Scedro Island

Scedro Island is a small island, one and a half miles south of the middle of the southern coast of Hvar Island. The island stretches from west to east. The island is 3.7 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. The coastline is very indented with many bays suitable for yacht anchorages. In any wind direction you can find a sheltered bay for anchorage of a yacht. The largest bay of Scedro is located in the middle of the northern coast of the island.

There are almost no permanent inhabitants on the island. In the summer season there are several restaurants open for tourists and yachtsmen.
