Yacht anchorage in Gornji Statival Bay

Gornji Statival Bay (Uvala Gornji Statival) is located on the north-east coast of Kornat Island 1.7 miles south-east of its north-west tip (2,7 miles by sea). The bay is a good shelter for yachts in all winds except south-easterly.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 4-20 meters. The seabed is sand and seaweed. Holding is good. The bay is wild.

For anchorage of a yacht in the bay, you must purchase a permit to visit the Kornati National Park. Despite the prohibition of anchorage on the Navionics charts, the Kornati National Park rangers had no complaints about the anchored the yacht (July 2022).
