The small island of Lavsa lies off the south-west coast of Kornat Island in the Kornati archipelago of Croatia. It is separated from Kornat by the mile-wide Kornatska Kanal. Nearby, to the north-west is the island of Piskera, which is the yacht marina Piskera. On Lavsa Island there is only one spot for anchoring yachts and mooring at the buoys, it is Lavsa Bay.
Mooring buoys for yachts are set at the southern part of Lavsa Bay. The shelter for yachts is excellent from all winds and waves, except north-east.
There are two restaurants ashore that yachtsmen can visit during the season. The other times of the year, the island is uninhabited. Lavsa is located within the boundaries of the Kornati National Park, so a permit is required to visit it.
In addition, yachts can be anchored in a small cove in the north of the west shore of Lavsa Bay. The anchor is 5-8 meters deep. Seabed is sand and seaweed. Mooring lines to the shore is recommended.
