Donji Statival Bay (Uvala Donji Statival) is located on the north-east coast of Kornat Island 1.7 miles south-east of its north-west tip (3.1 miles by sea). The bay is a good shelter for yachts in all winds except south-easterly.

There are several options for mooring yachts in Donji Statival Bay.

1 - Yacht can be moored to the concrete restaurant pier at the head of the bay. This is the most sheltered location in the bay. Mooring should be by the bow, giving anchor from the stern, as at the pier is shallow.

2 - Yachts can pick up one of the mooring buoys set in the bay.

3 - yachts can be anchored at 6-12 meters depth. Seabed is sand and seaweed. Holding is good. It is possible to take mooring lines ashore. On the Navionics charts, it is noted that anchoring is prohibited in the bay. However, yachts are anchored here. Check it with the charter companies or, better yet, with Kornati National Park rangers.
