Zlarin Island

Zlarin is an island in Central Dalmatia, Croatia, 3 miles south-west of Sibenik. The island stretches from north-west to south-east for 3.3 miles. The greatest width of the island is 1.1 miles. The highest point of the island is Klepac Mountain, 169 meters above the sea level.

The only inhabited settlement on the island is Zlarin village. It is located in the north-west part of the island. A ferry service connects Zlarin with Sibenik and Vodice. Zlarin village is only one places on the island where yachts can be moored to the pier.

There are several beautiful bays on the north-east coast of the island where yachts can be anchored. Magarna Bay, half a mile from the south-eastern tip of the island, provides some protection from the prevailing winds.
