Zlarin port is located at the beginning of a deep V-shaped bay on the north-western side of the island. It is well sheltered from all winds except the strong westerly and north-westerly winds, which cause ripples and waves.
The port offers around 20 berths for yachts. Yachts can be moored on the south side of the 140-metre pier, which is equipped with fixed mooring lines. There is water and electricity. The depth at the pier varies from 1m near the shore to 4.5m at the end of the pier. The north side of the pier is used for ferries and tourist boats. There are also moorings on the first two of three small piers located off the eastern shore of the bay. Yachts with small drafts can be moored at the north side of the first two small piers, where the depth is about 2.5 m. The depth at the last pier (closest to shore) is only one metre, so only small local boats moor here. The first two piers have water and electricity.
Alternatively, you can pick up one of the 11 mooring buoys at the west end of the bay.
The port is equipped with video surveillance, Wi-Fi internet access and cranes with 1.5 t and 5 t capacity.
The small town of Zlarin has an ambulance, pharmacy, post office, travel agency, two grocery shops, three restaurants, cafes, small market, museum and two small coral and coral jewellery shops. Sibenik is the nearest year round port of entry. The nearest fuel stations are in Sibenik and Vodice.
Zlarin is known for its long tradition of coral diving. There is a small coral workshop in the town which is worth a visit.
The island is connected to the town of Sibenik by a ferry. There are no roads and no cars on the island.
