Lopar Bay is located in the north-west of Rab Island.
Usually yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay between two long piers, located on the north-east shore, at depths of 5-15 meters. The seabed is sandy. Holding is good. The bay shelters the yachts well from waves and winds of all directions, except north-west.
There is a ferry pier on the north-east shore of the bay, where yachts can be moored outside the high season. During the high season, the pier is filled with tourist vessels.
North-east and east shores of the bay is a large resort village. There are restaurants and stores.
