The small islet of Goli is located off the northern part of the north-eastern coast of Rab Island. The tiny port described below was in the second half of the 20th century a port of prison for political prisoners. It is located on the west side of the island of Goli, 0.7 miles south of its northern tip.
Yachts can be moored to the north or south waterfront alongside. The piers are built of coarse coquina, which at the slightest ripples damages the mooring lines and the fenders.
On the shore of the ruined prison and industrial buildings. In the summer tourists are transported here on excursions. There is a restaurant.
If all the piers are occupied, you can sail to the anchorage at Vela Draga Bay, half a mile to the south-east.
Yachts are anchored here at a depth of 5-10 meters. The seabed is sandy. Holding is good. Since the depth increases rapidly, it may take several attempts to fix the anchor good.
