Stonicica Bay (Uvala Stonicica) is located in the northeast of the island of Vis, 2.5 miles (3.5 miles by sea) east-north-east of the town of Vis.
15 mooring buoys are installed in the southern part of the bay. The buoys seem to belong to the administration of the port of Vis, but not to the restaurant on the shore. It is not possible to reserve a buoy in advance. Good shelter from winds and waves of all directions, except from the north.
In addition, you can be anchored outside the buoy field with a mooring lines ashore. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good on the sand.
There is a restaurant (Konoba Stoncica) in the south-west corner of the bay. In the south of the bay is a sandy beach. Poor GSM reception. Along the eastern shore of the bay there is a trail to the lighthouse Stonichica (1.5 km).
