Vis yacht marina is located on the city's waterfront on the south-west shore of the bay. A total of 50 places for yachts at the waterfront and 40 buoys are provided. Depths at the quay are 3-4 meters.
There is electricity and water on the pier. Showers and toilets are nearby. There is no extra charge for them. The marina staff collects garbage. Yachts at the buoys can also refill their tanks with water when there is berthing space on the pier at no extra charge.
PLEASE NOTE that when your yacht is moored at the waterfront, it is necessary to have sufficiently long mooring lines and stern fenders, as ferries break big waves when entering the bay, which may crash your yacht onto the concrete waterfront. This doesn't matter when mooring on buoys.
An alternative to mooring your boat at the waterfront or at the buoys is anchoring head of the bay between the pier to which the ferries approach and the fueling station.
In addition, you can moor your boat at the village quay of Kut, half a mile east of the town's waterfront of Vis. It is quieter here, and which is a little better shelter in southerly and easterly winds. Depths along the waterfront are 3.0 to 3.5 meters. There are columns with water and electricity along the waterfront. Toilets nearby.
