The port and town of Komiza is located on the west of the island of Vis, in the northern corner of the bay of the same name.
Yachts are mooring with their stern to the north side of the breakwater on stationary mooring lines. Depths at the breakwater are 4-7 meters. Yachts here are protected only from winds from southeast to northeast. In other winds the wave will be here.
Also, you can pick up one of the many mooring buoys located south of the breakwater. Mooring at the buoys is recommended only when the weather is calm.
Komiza is quite a lively pretty town with bars, restaurants, stores.
