The bay and the city of Rogoznica are located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, five miles to the south-east of Primosten and 15 miles to the west of Trogir. Like many settlements along this coast, Rogoznitsa was originally located on the island to protect against the Turkish and other invaders. In later times, the island was connected to the mainland by the road. Today, Rogoznica is a popular tourist resort and, thanks to its good shelter and comfortable yacht marina, a popular port for visit of yachts.
Yachts can be moored in Marina Frapa and on the embankment on the western side of the island of Rogoznica, where the depth is about 2.0 meters. In addition, yachts can pick up one of two dozen mooring buoys in a large bay to east of the island of Rogoznica.
There are several charter companies in Marina Frapa, which provide bareboat sail yachts for rent. However, for visiting Rogoznica during a week-long voyage, a yacht can be rented in many marinas from Split to Zadar.
