Yacht anchorage in Borovica Bay

Borovica Bay (Uvala Borovica) is located one mile south-east of Rogoznica (4 miles by sea).

In the northern narrowest part of Borovitsa Bay it is possible to moored without anchor, only with mooring lines from the yacht to both shores. In the wider part of the bay yachts are anchored and take mooring lines to the shore. The bottom is sand with rock outcrops. You need to make sure you anchor fixed good. There's not much space in the bay, but most yachts leave it by evening. An excellent shelter from the prevailing winds of the west in summer, but unsuitable for anchoring in southerly winds. Borovica Bay is absolutely wild with the clearest water, no buildings on the shores.
