Donje Celo Bay (Uvala Donje Celo) is located in the north-west of Kolocep island. Donje Celo translates as Lower Forehead.
Yachts can be anchored in the middle of the bay as shown on the map at a depth of 3-5 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is goog on the sand. The cove shelters yachts well from winds and waves from the south-west, south, east and north-east. In the north and west winds the bay is not suitable for anchorage.
Choose a spot to anchorage so as not to interfere with the maneuvers of the ferry, which comes here quite often. There are several mooring buoys in the bay, but if you stand on a buoy, be prepared that at any moment your may be asked to leave it. In addition, it is difficult to determine the reliability of a mooring buoy by its appearance.
On the shore, the village of Donje Chelo is small, but quite developed. Taverns, bars, stores are located near the ferry pier.
