Magarna Bay (Uvala Magarna) is located on the north-eastern coast of Zlarin Island, half a mile from the south-eastern tip of the island.
In Magarna Bay, yachts most often are anchored in the head of the bay at 5-10 metres depth with a mooring lines to the shore. The seabed is sand, seaweed and rocks. It may take a few attempts for the anchor fixed good.
In summer, especially on weekends, the bay is crowded, but at night there are usually only a few yachts around. During the day there are sometimes a lot of wasps.
A few nearby bays to the north of Magarna are also suitable for anchorage, but they are more open to northerly winds.
