Zut Island is located seven miles off the coast of mainland Croatia, 20 miles south of the city of Zadar. It is the second largest island in the Kornati archipelago and it is separated from Kornat Island by a two-mile wide channel (Zutski Kanal).
The island has four main yachting moorings. They are all on the north-east coast of the island in Zut Bay and Hiljaca Bay. Despite Zut is close to Kornat Island, it is not included in Kornati National Park, so yachts can enter to it without permission.
