Zut is a large and deep bay a mile wide, located on the north-east side of the island.
The approach is mostly safe, although there are numerous islets and reefs on the approaches to Zut and the skipper boat needs to be careful. There is a small island, Maslinjak, at the entrance to Zut Bay, which can be sailed around from either side. In addition to the ACI marina ZUT at the west end of the bay, there are several moorings for yachts in the bay.
Zesnja Bay
Exactly a mile south-east of ACI Marina Zut is a small bay Zesnja that provides good shelter for your boat in all winds except strong north-easterly or north winds.
Anchor at 5.0 - 6.0 meters or less, if your draft allows it. Holding is good in sand and seaweed. No service ashore.
Babin Bok Bay 43°52.53'N, 15°18.17'E
Babin Bok bay is the next one to the east after Babin Bok. Anchor at a depth of 8.0 - 10.0 meters. Holding is good in the sand and seaweed. It makes sense to take mooring lines ashore. The bay provides good shelter for your yacht in all winds except high northerly to easterly winds.
Strunac bay 43°52.59'N, 15°19.06'E
Strunac Bay is the easternmost bay of Luka Zut. There is a small pier and a dozen mooring buoys owned by Bain Restaurant in the bay. To reserve a berth at the pier or a buoy, call +38598294125.
Anchoring is not prohibited here, but buoys are scattered all over the bay and it is difficult to find a spot with suitable depth for anchoring.
