The Peljesac Peninsula is a long, 38 miles coastal peninsula that is connected to the mainland by an isthmus near Ston town. The main attraction of the peninsula are the towns of Ston and Maly Ston and the Great Wall of Croatia connecting them.
In Ston yachts can be moored at the city waterfront. There is a yacht marina Orebic on the southern coast of the peninsula. At the western tip of the peninsula there is a closed bay Loviste, which provides excellent protection for yachts in winds of all directions.
Yachts usually sail along the southern side of the peninsula through Peljeski Strait, which separates the peninsula from the island of Korcula. The northern side of the peninsula is visited by yachts much less frequently.
