Loviste is a bay and a small fishport at the western end of the Peljesac peninsula. The bay is an excellent shelter for yachts in all winds.
The main village of Lovishte (1) is located on the south shore of the bay. This is the best place for mooring a yacht in calm weather or in winds of southern directions. There is a small pier, to which 3-4 yachts can be moored.
In addition, several mooring buoys are installed. Mooring to the red buoy costs 250 kuna. Mooring to the black restaurant buoys implies a visit to the restaurant. You can be also anchored at a depth of 5-12 meters. The bottom is sandy and holding is goog. The village has several restaurants and a small supermarket.
During the bura, it is best to anchor or pick up one of the mooring buoys in the northwest corner of the bay (2).
There is a restaurant on the shore.
