Yacht mooring in Tkon harbor

Tkon harbor is located on the south-east coast of Pasman Island in Croatia, three miles from the south-eastern tip of the island and a little over a mile from the mainland city of Biograd.

Tkon is the main ferry port of the island, with regular car ferries to Biograd (10 minutes). About 100 meters north-west of the ferry pier is a small harbor with several pools, the interior part of which is filled with small pleasure and fishing boats.

Along the north-west breakwater there are moorings for 20-25 yachts at a depth of 1,5-2,5 meters. Shelter in the harbor is good in any winds, except strong north and north-easterly. There is water and electricity.

The city has many bars, cafes, restaurants, stores. Many tourists, who come by ferry from the mainland.  One and a half kilometers north-west of the port is the mountain Kokovac, on which is located the Benedictine monastery of the 12th century with the Gothic church of Saints Kuzma and Damjan.
