Paklinski islands

Archipelago Paklinski islands (Paklinski otoci) is a group of islands and rocks located on the southern side of the western part of Hvar Island.

The archipelago stretches from the western tip of Hvar Island to the town of Hvar. The islands are limestone. In total, the archipelago includes 21 islands and rocks. The name of the archipelago in tourist guides is often incorrectly translated as "Hell Islands" (from the word "pakao", meaning hell). The largest island of the archipelago is St. Clement Island.

The coastline of the archipelago is very indented with many bays where yachts can be anchored. There is a yacht marina on the island. Yachts can find a suitable shelter on the Paclinski Islands in any wind direction.
