Groikos Bay is located 2.5 miles south-south-east of Skala Harbor.
Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 8-10 meters. The bottom is covered with seaweed, but there are patches of sand. Anchor holds well when you find a sandy patch or anchor passes through the seaweed and buries itself in the sand.
There are several mooring buoys scattered around the bay, which you can pick up. In addition, there are three small piers in the northern part of the bay, to which you can moored. There are no reliable data about the depths of the piers.
The bay shelters yachts well from Meltemi, sheltered from southerly winds by Trago Island, but open to easterly winds.
