Rhodes Island

Rhodos is the fourth largest Greek island. It is located in the south-east of Greece in the Dodecanese islands in the Aegean Sea, 270 nautical miles from the capital of Greece Athens.

Rhodes Island is washed by the Aegean Sea from the west and the Mediterranean Sea from the east. The capital of the island is the city of Rhodes, located in the north-east of the island. Rhodes has International Airport "Diagoras". The island is connected to Athens by ferry services and local airlines.

Rhodes has a yacht marina and an old harbor, where transit yachts can be find a berth. Here you can rent a yacht for traveling around Dodecanese islands.

Rhodes is often called the pearl of the Mediterranean. It is rich in natural beauty, historical and archaeological monuments and a very interesting history. In accordance with the decision of UNESCO, the historical part of Rhodes city is included in the list of World Cultural Heritage.
