Yacht anchorage in Evreti Bay

Evreti Bay (Ormos Evreti) is located on the east coast of Kefalonia a little more than a mile south of the Fishport of Fiskardo. The bay is unnamed on the maps. However, there are reports of Evreti, named after the small village on the hill south of the bay.

Evreti is a small cove where several yachts can be anchored at the same time. It is desirable to take lines ashore. Depths are 5-12 meters. The bottom is sand, seaweed, mud. The bay shelters yachts well from the north-westerly winds which prevail here in the summer. There is a small pier in the bay. Depths at the pier are unknown.
