Yacht anchorages in Chorgota Bay

Chorgota Bay (Ormos Chorgota) is located on the east coast of Kefalonia, 6 miles south of Fiskardo Fishport.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 5-20 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good. The most suitable anchorage is off the north-west shore of the bays. It is possible to take lines on the shore. The bay shelters yachts well from the north-west winds that prevail here in the summer.

On the shore of the bay is a beach and one house. The bay is rarely visited by yachts and tourists, although a road approaches the bay.
