Antipaxos is located in the Ionian Sea, a mile south-east of the island of Paxos.
The island stretches from northwest to southeast for about two miles and is less than a mile wide. The coasts are rugged, but there are almost no bays that can sheltered yachts well from the prevailing winds. Therefore, overnight anchoring of yachts here is possible in only calm weather.
There are no settlements on the island, but there are separate houses scattered around the island. On the north-east side of the island there is a small ferry pier, where small ferries from Paxos come. Antipaxos is covered with vineyards. The most popular is the so-called black wine produced on the island. It can be tasted in the tavernas located on the most popular beaches of the island.
