Yacht anchorage in Kalamitsa Bay

Kalamitsa Bay (Ormos Kalamitsa) is located in the eastern part of the south-west coast of Antipaxos.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-15 meters. The bottom is sand, seaweed, rocks. However, you can always find a patch of sand for anchor. The bay is open to the west, so when prevailing winds is blow it will be a wave. It is recommended as a night anchorage either when the winds are northerly or easterly, or in the calm. There is no civilization near the bay.
