Paxos Island

The two islands of Paxos and Anti-Paxos are located in the Ionian Sea, seven miles south of Corfu (Kerkyra) and 35 miles from Lefkas. The islands are popular with yachtsmen travelling on chartered yachts, as they provide convenient overnight stopovers on classic yachting routes.

The picturesque port of Gayos is the capital of the island. The houses in Gayos, preserving the traditional Ionian architecture, narrow streets with small stores, bars and cafes.
