Moggonisi Bay (Limeniskos Moggonisi) is formed by the eastern part of Paxos Island and the western part of the small island of Mongonisi.
Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-8 meters. The bottom is sand, silt, seaweed. It may be a few attempts before the anchor is well fixed. The north-east quay is equipped to moor yachts with mooring rings. The depth at the waterfront is less than two meters. The bay is well sheltered from winds and waves of all directions, except northerly.
There are two good taverns on the shore. In high season here is very noisy and crowded. The bay is beautiful.
