Yacht anchorage off Petalas Island

Petalas Island is located on the mainland coast of the Ionian Sea, 27 miles south-east of Lefkas.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay between Petalas Island and the mainland at depths of 3-7 meters. The bottom is muddy. The anchor may not be fixed immediately. Despite the large water area of the bay, the shelter here is much better than it may seem at first glance, although it may be windy. There are not many yachts.

Absolutely wild place. Due to the muddy bottom, the water is muddy. A lot of flies.
