Yacht anchorage in Anavyssou Bay

Anavyssou bay is located on the northeast coast of Saronkos Gulf, 12 miles from Lavrio.

In calm weather, yachts can be anchored all around Anavyssou bay in depths of 3-15 meters. The bottom is sand with patches of seaweed. Holding is good on the sand. During Meltemi, the best shelter is in the small bay of St. Nicholas (Ag. Nikolaos) in the western part of Anavyssou bay. The south-western part of Agios Nikolaos Bay is occupied by local mooring yachts, so you should be anchored closer to the north shore of the bay at a depth of 4-6 meters.
