Korfos is located in the middle of the west coast of Saronkos Gulf in the bay of Sofiko, 11 miles (16 miles sea) south-east of the Corinth Canal.
Korfos is well protected from almost all winds. Yachts can be moored to the rather long pier at the west end of the village or to the section of the waterfront near the restaurants. Depths at the restaurants are 2.5 to 3 meters.
The second option is anchorage all around Sofiko Bay at depths from three to fifteen meters. The bottom is sand, silt, algae. Holdsing is good.
There are several restaurants and stores on the coast. During the summer months, there are many charter yachts coming into Korfos as they cruise around Saronkos Gulf, so it can be difficult to moored at the pier.
