Marathias Bay is located on the Ionian mainland coast 26 miles south-east of Lefkas at the entrance to Astakou Gulf.

Yachts are anchored in the center of the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sandy. In north and north-west winds in the bay there are strong gusts.
On the shore is a sandy beach, favored by the campers. Pigs walk along the beach.
