Atokos Island

The small Greek island of Atokos lies 7 miles east of the northern tip of Ithaki in the middle of the so-called Inner Sea, which is surrounded by Lefkas, Ithaki, Kefalonia and Zakynthos on the west and the Greece mainland on the east.

Athokos is an uninhabited island. The island is mountainous. The shores are often formed by rocks of bizarre shapes. The surface of the island is covered with forest. The shoreline is smooth. There are several places for anchoring yachts in the south of the island. They are sheltered from the prevailing north and northwest winds.
