Yacht anchorage in Ornos bay

Ornos Bay (Ornos Bay) is located on the south-west of Mykonos.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-20 meters on the sand and seaweed. The anchor does not always hold well. It often takes several attempts while the anchor fix securely. When Meltemi blows, there are no waves here, but it is windy. When Meltemi strengthens, a large number of boats whose crews have not anchored securely are dragged with their anchors.

Easy access to the shore and bus to the town of Mikino. Two grocery stores in 10 min walk along the road connecting the two bays.
