Yacht anchorage in Korfos Bay

The anchorage is located at the southernmost part of the large Korfos bay (Ormos Korfos) on the west of Mykonos island, a mile south of the old port of Mykonos. It is also called the North Bay of Ornos.

Yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay at a depth of 5-15 meters on the sand and seaweed. The anchor holds well, but sometimes it takes several attempts to anchor fixed securely. The cove is not suitable for anchoring when Meltemy blows. In southerly winds there are a lot of yachts here.
