Tristomo Bay is located in the north-western part of Karpathos island.

Tristomo is well sheltered enclosed bay. The entrance to the bay from the west is closed by two small islets, Big and Small Tristomo. It is the only natural shelter on Karpathos island. The entrance to the bay is only through the southern passage.
DANGER: DO NOT enter to the bay through the northern passages, because they are full of reefs.
Warning: When Meltemi is strong, entering and exiting the bay may become impossible due to high waves in the passage.
