Mylopotas Bay (Ormos Mylopotas) is located in the west of Ios Island, a mile south-east of the port of Ios.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-15 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. Best shelter from Meltemi is under the northern shore of the bay, particularly in Kolitsani Cove (1) and Liem's Cove (2).

At the east of Mylopotas bay is a large sandy beach. In summer, several restaurants and minimarkets are open. Quite a lively place. You can get to the city by bus, which runs every 20 minutes. The cost is 1,2 euros.
