Yacht anchorages in Spartia Bay

Spartia Bay is located on the south coast of Kefalonia, 10.5 miles west-north-west of the southern tip of the island.

Yachts are anchored at a depth of 5-10 meters as indicated on the Navionics chart. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. The bay is well protected from the north-west winds that prevail here in the summer. Do not get too close to the shore - there are rocky outcrops on the bottom, in which the anchor can get stuck.

There is a sandy beach on the shore. There is a tavern. In summer there may be wasps.
