Yacht anchorages in Atheras Bay

Atheras Bay (Ormos Atheras) is located in the north-west of the island of Kefalonia.

Yachts are anchored in the northern part of the bay at depths of 3 meters or more. The bottom is hard sand and seaweed. Anchor does not always hold well. Anchorage is well sheltered from winds and waves of all directions, except northerly. 

There is a tavern on the shore that serves great mussels (general consensus).
