Yacht anchorage in Tsoutsouli Bay

Tsoutsouli Bay (Ormos Tsoutsouli) is located on the north of the eastern coast of Ithaki. On the charts the bay is unnamed. We call the bay by the name of the beach in it.

Anchor is in the center of the bay at a depth of 8-13 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. It may take several attempts to get the anchor through the seaweed and fixed well on the sand. The cove is small, so a lines ashore is desirable. It is good shelter for the yachts from the prevailing north-west winds.
